Tic Disorders

A tic is a sudden repetitive motor or verbal movement.  They include simple blinks or shrugs to facial expressions, arm of leg movements, throat clearing to obscene language. While medication is sometimes prescribed Habit Reversal training is the current treatment with the most evidence (see Woods et al 2007).
